LETnEC, provides a wealth of services of every aspect for a training and education organization. While some are common, some are unusual and specific to problems within law enforcement.

Also referred to as platform or synchronous training, this is training that occurs in a classroom with all participants present with the instructor.
We provide everything from needs identification and strategy to Train-The-Trainer, we apply exacting processes to developing training and materials that include full documentation of each step.
Also referred to as computer or web-based, or asynchronous training, this is training that occurs anywhere, at anytime, without an instructor directing participants.
Same exacting processes as Instructor Led Training, but with the result being training materials that reside in a Learning Management System or on an electronic device.
Also known as hybrid or multi-modal, this training (when done well) uses the best of both Instructor Led and eLearning methods to deliver flexible, rich, and impactful training.
Blended training requires a nuanced understanding of learning theories, systems and processes, and the advantages and pitfalls of all modes of training. We apply the same processes to developing all training, but also conduct broader analysis of the training environment, processes, systems, and audience to develop a training program that maximizes the positives of all and mitigates the negatives.
LETnEC has a very exacting process – one that delivers three exceptionally important factors missing in a lot of training developed currently.
We have developed a system where we can take training you are already conducting, reverse engineer it, apply our process to it, and provide you with training materials that will give you consistency between iterations and instructors, continuity throughout training programs, and accountability for participants, instructors, and the organization.
In an increasingly litigious environment, being able to demonstrate exactly what you are training and how it should have been delivered, provides a level of liability protection that few training products can provide – we create a training chain of evidence.
How do you know the training and education you or your organization delivers is actually effective? A training evaluation program is essential to making sure what you believe is being delivered is actually making an impact on the expected outcomes.
We use the Learning Transfer Evaluation Model (LTEM) as the measure of your training products and programs. The scope and scale of evaluation depends on how much information you are seeking and how in depth you want to go for data.
Just providing training isn’t sufficient. You need a regular evaluation process to inform your stakeholders and the maintenance of your programs.
The International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) manages the National Certification Program (NCP) – a program where one certified course is accepted by the law enforcement regulatory bodies of 36 states.
NCP evaluators conduct a rigorous evaluation and assessment of the quality of training. This means that training can fail certification and must be revised in order to be certified. Not all training passes, sometimes resulting in months of revision and back-and-forth to get it to pass.
Save time and money by having your course evaluated by a current NCP evaluator to make sure that your course passes the first time.
We will review your course with a fine-tooth comb. We will go through every aspect of your course from performance objectives to your assessment and evaluation plan. The result is a consultation where we discuss the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to your course. We then provide a report with recommendations for improvement and considerations to be made.
Our course reviews are intensive, but they are designed for one end result – you having the best, most effective course for your participants to meet the level of competency you require.
Performance consulting is looking at your organizational needs, then analyzing your workforce, processes, and systems to determine what it is you need your employees to do and to what level of competency.
Often times training decisions are made without this analysis, which results in wasted money and time, poor performance, and low morale/high attrition. If you are not conducting a performance analysis before creating your training, you are missing a lot of important information and may be developing the wrong training.
Strategic plans are developed for every agency and for different units, but when have you seen a Training Strategy?
Learning strategy is a relatively new concept in Learning and Development – it is the creation of an intentional path of training development and aligning it with the mission and goals of the organization.
Many academies, agencies, and even corporate organizations do not have a learning or training strategy. This results in training becoming a reactive response to issues rather than a proactive development of performance.
We have developed strategic plans for business, law enforcement units, and training strategies for both. It requires a unique understanding of an organization, its purpose, mandates and limitations, and learning science.
